Tokyo Motor Show 2011

The love for car is very old among the humans and for this reason every year many companies arrange different car shows throughout the world. People now long for these events. In past they were arranged for the purpose of selling cars but now it has diversified a lot and today it is a become a great business. Along with the car show there were many other activities that are arranged to entertain the visitors. The Tokyo motor show 2011 was one of the best motor shows in last few years and people from all over the world came to witness this grand event. Tokyo is widely known as city of racers and wonderful cars so in this year Tokyo motor show presented cars from every era from classical to modern. People were also given a chance to show off their cars which was additional treat for the visitors.

The motor show welcomed hundreds of visitors and keeping in mind the perfect opportunity for promoting the cars to huge audience the different automobile giants sponsored the event. As mentioned earlier one of the activity at the motor show was that many visitors were allowed to bring their cars for show off which helped the people to become part of the show. The visitors displayed their best Japanese cars from seventies and modern era. The event also included thrilling drag and drift car races. One feature of these races was that the people who want to experience this thrill of race were allowed to sit at the back seat of the driver which was liked by many people. A part from all these activities, small competitions were also held for the best modified cars and cars with the best sound system. The visitor voted for the best cars and at the end of competition prize money was awarded to the visitors. This Tokyo car show is very much famous among the people because of the introduction of many new car models. The Popular Japanese Used Cars for Sale

Toyota corolla is the name. The Toyota Corolla and many Japan used cars for sale is a line of subcompact and compact cars manufactured by the Japanese automaker Toyota, which has become very popular throughout the world since the nameplate was first introduced in 1966. In 1997, the Corolla became the best selling nameplate in the world, with over 35 million Japanese used cars on sale, surpassing the Volkswagen Beetle.[2] Over the past 40 years, one Corolla car has been sold on average every 40 seconds.[3] The series has undergone several major redesigns.

The name Corolla is part of Toyota’s naming tradition of using the name Crown for primary models: the Corona, for example, gets its name from theLatin for crown; Corolla is Latin for small crown; and Camry is an Anglicized pronunciation of the Japanese for crown, kanmuri.
The first Corolla generation was introduced in October 1966 with the new 1100 cc K pushrod engine. The Corolla Sprinter was introduced as the fastback version in 1968.
In May 1970, the E20 was restyled with a more rounded body and the 1400 cc T and 1600 cc 2T OHV engines were added to the range. The now mutually exclusive Corolla and Sprinter names were used to differentiate between two slightly different treatments of sheet metal and trim. April 1974 brought rounder, bigger and heavier Corollas and Sprinters. The range was rounded out with the addition of a two-door liftback. The Corollas were given E30 codes while the Sprinters were given E40 codes.
A major restyle in March 1979 brought a square edged design. The Corollas had a simpler treatment of the grill, headlights and taillights while the Sprinter used a slightly more complex, sculptured treatment. The new A series engines were added to the range as a running change.
It went though many changes and developments and finally came the 9th generation where In November 2000, the ninth-generation Corolla was introduced in Japan, with edgier styling and more technology to bring the nameplate into the 21st century. It is also called the Corolla Altis in the ASEAN region. The station wagon model is called the Corolla Fielder in Japan. The North American release was delayed until March 2002 (2003 MY).
The tenth generation of the Corolla was introduced in October 2006. Japanese markets called it the Corolla Axio, with the ASEAN markets retaining the Corolla Altis branding. The station wagon retains the Corolla Fielder name. The Corolla Altis and Corolla Axio have a different appearance. The history of this car depicts the favoritism  of today’s generation towards this legend whether being a new car or an used car.
